Lorita Shaw, MBA is the Founder of Data Analytics, Simplified® and a Senior Data Engineer with more than 13 years of experience across data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and business analysis.
Her experience spans healthcare, public sector, clinical research, insurance, bioscience, and enterprise technology, with work ranging from performance measurement and operational analytics to business intelligence, data infrastructure, and enterprise data initiatives.
Throughout her career, Lorita has helped organizations turn complex data into information leaders and teams can actually use. Her work has included developing KPI and performance measurement frameworks, analyzing operational and program data, improving reporting processes, building analytics and business intelligence solutions, translating business needs into technical requirements, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
She brings that same practical approach to Data Analytics, Simplified®, where the focus extends beyond tools and technology to the business questions, decisions, processes, and outcomes that data is meant to support.
Her work and leadership in technology have also been recognized by Women in Technology. She was named a 2025 Woman to Watch Honoree and was nominated again in 2026.
